The beginnings of Constance's odyssey first began percolating in my mind five or so years ago on a family road trip.  By some cruel, ironic twist of fate, I cannot read in a car without getting sick.  So for the twenty two hours I was trapped in the car, I was listening to music.  When I started listening to this new album from a favorite band of mine, The Unforgiving by Within Temptation, I started getting the first images of the girl in the cell.  From there, it snowballed into the entire Stone Mage Saga.
